Garden

Due to the location of the Plitvice Holiday Lodge in the National Park Plitvička jezera we have paid particular attention to the cultivation of the environment. We planted local plants and the paths were made of natural stone. Our small kitchen garden is a source of joy for us and our guests. Pots with aromatic herbs give odour to the whole estate and seasonal fruits invite our guests to pick them up and eat directly from the tree.

We wanted to create different places for gathering, relaxation and seclusion. Our guests gather mostly in the amphitheatre around the fireplace, where, depending on the season, they can grill corn, chestnut or a sausage. During the warm months our guests love to have breakfast on a wooden bench bathing in the mountain sun or in the shadow of the old beech trees. A large swinging bench invites you to lazing around with a good book or simply to enjoy the beauty of the nature.
