Fishing in ice-cold, clear and pure rivers Korana, Slunjčica, Mrežnica and particularly in Gacka is a dream of every angler. These rivers are rich in trout, pike, catfish, chub and grass carp. Due to the specific chemical structure of the water and stable temperature the freshwater trout grows seven times faster than anywhere else in the world. The fishing season on Gacka lasts from the beginning of March till the end of October. The lake Kruščica is very attractive to anglers since being inhabited by big fish specimen, such as catfish over 90 kilograms, carps over 25, pikes over 15, tenches and grass carps over 3 kilograms. A valid fishing licence is required and you may go on your own or hire an experienced guide to show you the best fishing locations.

Rafting and kayaking on Mrežnica River are a unique experience. There are 93 waterfalls and numerous tufa barriers. During rafting on Mrežnica you will row over a third of waterfalls. If you go for kayaking you will be able to swim and to high dive from a 9m high rock. This half day adventure is accessible to everyone, even to those without any experience in these activities as well as to families with children above 6 years of age.

Rafting and kayaking on Una River, one of the most beautiful and purest European rivers is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Ancient Romans, fascinated by its beauty named the river Una – one and only, unique. It is worth mentioning that its water is used for drinking in some settlements on its banks. Una River takes place within the area of the National Park Una and starts at the point Štrbački buk. Apart from enjoying rafting and kayaking you can get to know the gastronomy and culture of the neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina and visit the beautiful town of Bihać.

Kayaking on the crystal clear water of the River Gacka is recommended in transparent kayaks. While rowing the transparent kayaks will enable to explore rich flora and fauna of this beautiful river. Ordinary kayaks are available too and our recommendation is to bring or rent binoculars which will enable you to observe a rich bird population.

Free or sport climbing on artificial rocks – the closest location is in Rudo polje. The rock for sport climbing is 8 m high, 54m2 big and there are 3 climbing tracks. The rock for free climbing is 67m2 big and there are round 20-ak tracks of different levels. You may find there all the required equipment and professional climbers who will take care of your safety. When in Rudo polje you may try the zip line „Pazi medo“ (Mind the bear).
